Last week we had the honor of photographing the wedding of one of our really good friends! Mike and Melissa got married in Ventura and it wasn’t the typical wedding day weather one would normally expect here!
The wind picked up during the ceremony and made for some interesting moments and as soon as the ceremony was over the rain just started coming down! This is definitely not the norm for weather in Ventura. But I have to say that Mike and Melissa are great sports and we were able to make it work even better inside! Of course the bad weather went away just in time for the outdoor reception. Mother nature has a way of doing this to us.
This was a great day, it felt like everyone was where they were supposed to be, and everything happened the way it was supposed to happen. Everything happens for a reason, and if you ever get the chance to see Melissa and Mike together, you will also see all the reasons why they are now husband and wife!
