We are going to be back in Joshua Tree this weekend for another wedding! The desert just seems to bring out the intimacy in everyone. Maybe it is because we are so far away from the city that it feels like nobody is watching us so everyone just gets closer together. Maybe we just happen to get some amazing couples?
There is a lot of love with what we do. We both love photography, we both love photographing people. It just so happens that we are lucky enough to photograph people in love with each other so it makes our job a little easier. Of course we document the day, the guests, the families and all of those must have shots, but what it comes down to is the couple.
While we love all of the moments of the wedding day our favorite part is the couple and their connection. Sometimes it is just about putting them in the right situation, the right light or simply being at the right place at the right time. And in Joshua Tree National Park definitely helps! Such a great place for a wedding or engagement photos or just any type of photo, it is beautiful!
This weekend is going to be another great weekend with another great couple! I had to pick out some Joshua Tree images for today’s post because we will be back there this weekend but also I just like looking at the photos we get to take.
This is why I love going through older images from the past year, it is a wonderful reminder that we really do get to do what we love!
