Are You Ready?

Some of our favorite moments happen just before the actual wedding begins.  There is a little rush of emotion, panic, last minute changes or that moment when you thought you forgot something all before the ceremony ever begins.  But there are also moments where all of that is forgotten and there is a subtle romance to the final getting ready process.

We have a lot of weddings here in Palm Springs.  This truly is a great place for a destination wedding!  And I’m not just saying that to those who have booked their destination as Palm Springs or anywhere here in the Coachella Valley.  We love it here!  We moved to Palm Springs after vacationing here on our own anniversary for 3 years in a row!  But back to the moments… Sorry, I get a little carried away when talking about Palm Springs!

There is almost a subtle romance to these little moments.  An adjustment to the tie, to the dress, tightening the shoe strap or just a glimpse in the mirror to make sure everything is exactly perfect.  And honestly, it always is!  This is the wedding day, you are here, you are in the moment, you are exactly where you are meant to be!

I like to call the getting ready part of the day the last formality.  I know there are other formalities to a wedding day, but really, this is the last thing you do as an unmarried person.  This is the goodbye to being single and hello to a whole new adventure!  These are moments to remember.  This is sentiment.

We always feel so tremendously lucky to be able to do what we do.  We are also lucky to have met the people we have photographed over the years.  These are the moments we love so much, and we will continue to celebrate these moments as long as possible.  Thank you all for being a part of them with us!
